I came up to the Northeast for the Great North Run and stayed in the Seaton Lane Inn. I'll be honest - for the price I paid for a double room my expectations were quite low! What a pleasure to stay at this fantastic hotel. The service, the facilities and the food were top class - thanks to you all!

The decor, both in the public areas and the rooms is fantastic. The ambience in the restaurant just right. The staff friendly and very attentive at all times.
The food is simply superb! I opted for the special - surf 'n' turf with steak & lobster - WOW! Best steak I have had in this country in over 15 years - melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection!
We have family in the area and will probably not want to stay anywhere else again, when we visit!
What a fantastic find! This was a very last minute booking after being let down elsewhere and we struck very lucky indeed!
